Allegrini Palazzo Della Torre Veronese IGT

TASTING NOTE
One of Allegrini’s great classics, this wine manages to elegantly combine the fullness of the mouthfeel with its immediacy. The nose reveals distinct notes of berries, aromatic herbs, spices, and vanilla, which resound on a palate where texture is underpinned by sweet, polished tannins that accompany the tasting to its long and intriguing finish.

Service temperature: 18-ºC

Decanting: Recommended for at least 1 hour.

Food Pairing:
Pairs well with Risotto with mushrooms and sausage, pasta Amatriciana and Carbonara, platters of ham and culatello, pork loin, roast veal, Parmigiano Reggiano, and matured Monte Veronese cheese.

Grape: 40% Corvina Veronese, 30% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella and 5% Sangiovese
Country: Italy
Aging: 15 months in French oak barrels, 2 months in large barrels and bottle-aged for 7 months.

It bears the name of the vineyard surrounding Villa Della Torre. It was the precursor of the double fermentation method: Franco Allegrini’s courageous winemaking intuitions have given rise to an extremely versatile wine with a strong personality. Acclaimed by the world’s most important wine magazines, Palazzo della Torre is one of the wines that has made Allegrini famous internationally.
