TASTING NOTE

Cherry red with violet edging, is a very good layer. A fragrant nose of ripe black fruits, soft rosemary, and clove spices. It’s intense, tasty, and very, very long-lasting. Persistence and balance.

Decanting: Recommended for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Service temperature: 16 ºC

Food Pairing:
Perfectly with grilled red meats, roasts, lamb, mature cheeses, and spoon dishes such as fabada.

ABV: 14.5% VOL.
Grape: Tempranillo
Country: Spain
Aging: 12 months in American and French oak barrels, and 10 months in bottles.
Seal: Cork Type

Its first vintage, 1994, was awarded the title of Best Wine in the World at an international competition organized by the Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organisation (OIVE), held in Turkey. Since then, this 100% tempranillo has been one of the hallmarks of Bodega Matarromera, located in Valbuena de Duero.
