Brockenchack Jack Harrison Shiraz

TASTING NOTE
Jack Harrison Shiraz is the first indication of something special… inky black depths with bright purple edges. The nose is a concentrated combination of darker cherry fruit, French oak spice, and the characteristic cassis/star anise top notes. The palate is a massive mouthful of chewy black juicy fruit, wrapped around a weighty oak core, with an extended length that promises to develop into something of significant power and elegance. Impressive!

Brockenchack was born from a passion for wine, and a deep love for the Barossa and all it has to offer. This special place is named after our 4 grandchildren – Bronte, Mackenzie, Charli, and Jack – who are the life and soul of this little family wine venture.

This wine is named after our grandson Jack who is training to become our future winemaker and viticulturist. Made from our single vineyard Shiraz vines which boast an average vine age of 50 years, our cool climate premium Shiraz is handcrafted to be elegant and memorable.
