Chateau Faizeau Montagne-Saint Emilion

TASTING NOTE
The nose is fruity and offers juiciness, small power and fine intensity. There are notes of ripe raspberry, blackberry and more lightly violet associated with fine touches of licorice and a discreet hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, and balanced and offers smoothness, freshness as well as fine tension, a tangy frame, and a good definition.

Service Temperature: 14-17°C

Decanting: Recommended for at least 30 minutes.

Food Pairing: 
Pair well with a variety of dishes, including roasted meats and hard cheeses.

Faizeau means “little faize”, in reference to the Benedictine abbey of Faize located near the property, which had, among other things, vineyards in Pauillac and Saint-Émilion.
