Peter Riddoch Rymill and his wife Judy founded Rymill Coonawarra in the early 1970s. This was after they diversified their farming into viticulture in 1968 with an experimental vineyard, and six years later returned to Coonawarra to plant the Rymill Coonawarra Vineyards. Rymill Coonawarra’s philosophy is to make wines of finesse from only estate-grown fruit with the motto 100% Sustainable, 100% Coonawarra, and 100% estate grown.
