A historic Japanese whisky, that has been in production since 1937. Kakubin translates from Japanese as “square bottle”, referring to the distinctive design of this whisky. This is a classic blend of Suntory’s distilleries Yamazaki and Hakushu, aged in Bourbon casks.

This whisky is a testament to the harmony that is at the very heart of everything Suntory do. A light and refreshing blend, with sweet notes of warm cereal, caramel, toffee and bananas. This dram is perfectly balanced. A spirit ideal for mixing with soda and the core of many a Japanese cocktail.

TASTING NOTE
NOSE
Big scoops of fresh cereals and honeycomb ice cream. Light spiciness to it.

PALATE
More honey, now with the addition of citrus peels, peppercorn and cinnamon.

FINISH
More honey’d barley.
