Yalumba Samuel’s Barossa Shiraz

TASTING NOTE
Intensely deep crimson color, powerful but full of grace and showing fine balance and structure. The wine opens with spicy blackberry notes. With time in the glass, the wine reveals hints of cracked black pepper and then toffee, dark chocolate, and espresso coffee.

“Juicy, contemporary shiraz from Yalumba, flush with juicy blueberry, satsuma plum, and macerated summer berry fruits along with hints of baking spice, jasmine, licorice, Old Jamaica chocolate, and just a shimmer of pepper and earth…”

Dave Brookes – Halliday Wine Companion
